Fire salamanders in danger!

Let's work together to protect the fire salamander from Bsal.

The skin fungus Bsal has been detected in the Kellerwald-Edersee National Park and the Kellerwald-Edersee Nature Park. It primarily infects fire salamanders, but other native salamander species are also threatened. Severe skin lesions often cause the animals to die within a few days.
